About the Role

This position is part of the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will support CESER's procurement and contract activities by helping staff prepare purchase requests, tracking contract funding and contractor performance, and recommending ways to improve acquisition processes.

  • Veterans shape the future of energy As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Serve as an analyst and advisor to senior program officials, evaluating mission-critical programs and operations, and providing technical guidance on analysis and evaluation methods.
  • Develop and maintain programming data/information systems, interpreting and applying policies, regulations, and system requirements to ensure effective application within the assigned program.
  • Analyze management information requirements to develop administrative reporting systems and evaluates new or modified administrative program policies, regulations, and goals.
  • Maintain contract records, tracks funding, processes invoices, and coordinates with contractors and the acquisition team for financial actions.
  • Support procurement planning, operations, and reporting, offering guidance on procurement requisition packages and assisting in their development.
  • Monitor contractor performance, resolves issues to ensure contract compliance, and recommends improvements to acquisition strategies, policies, and processes.
