This position is in the Whistleblower Office (WBO), within the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). The mission of the WBO is to perform intake, tracking, and recordkeeping of whistleblower submissions; oversee the review process of each whistleblower's eligibility; administer the determination process for whistleblower award claims; communicate with whistleblowers and their representatives; and report to the Commission and Congress on the whistleblower program.
What You'll Do
- →Intake: organizes and handles receipt of all submissions to the WBO, in any format, from external sources, including: tips and complaints, whistleblower award applications, inquiries to the WBO, and FOIA and Privacy Act requests.
- →Administrative Support: supports WBO attorneys in all aspects of whistleblower program work, including: proofreading and cite checking, redacting and preparing records, budgeting and financial administration, maintaining the WBO's website, logistical support, and updating whistleblower forms.
