As a Management and Program Analyst you will, develop new or recommend changes to, existing issuances and directive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program office.

What You'll Do

  • The responsibilities described are for the full performance level.
  • At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
  • Coordinates a variety of inter-agency projects, studies, and tasks that are critical to advancing USCIS programs.
  • Develops and evaluates policies and recommends actions to achieve program objectives and improvements related to form reviews that support USCIS' missions.
  • Supports the implementation and coordination of a variety of initiatives impacting the E-Verify, and Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Programs.
  • Supports Division activities associated with strategic planning, mission and operations analysis, and policy development.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarizes information for incorporation into final reports and presentation to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
  • Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
  • Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
  • Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
  • EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at the GS-12 and GS-13 grade levels.
