This position will serve as a Management Analyst for the Dept. of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, San Francisco Region, Portland Area Office with duty location of Portland, OR. This position is at the full performance level. This position is outside the bargaining unit. This position is NOT remote. Selectee will be expected to report to the office listed above.
What You'll Do
- →Researches and recommends workable solutions and management actions that are based on sound management principles and are achievable in relation to agency policy and regulations.
- →Prepares directives, memoranda, policy statements, and other written guidelines and recommendations for review by management.
- →Provides administrative support to the Area Office, in the absence of administrative support and/or clerical staff, as needed.
- →Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology, as needed.
- →Identifies and reviews data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
- →Incumbent may assist with planning, coordinating, and developing budget proposals for the agency.
