This position is in the Office of Finance and Administration (OFA), Office of Resources and Information (ORI), Resources and Operations Division (ROD). About: Office of Finance and Administration This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).
What You'll Do
- →You will: Serve as an advisor on resource (financial and human) and operation issues to the ROD Director and Deputy Director.
- →Represent the Agency in briefings with the Office of Management and Budget to justify OFA's portion of the EPA budget, to include the resources requested for the Regions, as well as cross-cutting projects OFA is working on with other EPA offices.
- →Implement the Lean Management System for ROD and in coordination with other ORI divisions.
- →Coordinate with internal ROD branches and sections, and other ORI divisions to obtain input pertaining to a wide range of policy, resource, and operations issues related to OFA.
- →One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
Requirements
- ✓#LI-DNI You must meet time-in-grade requirements no later than 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement.
- ✓This position is designated as Moderate Risk and requires a background investigation.
- ✓Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation.
- ✓All conditions of the pre-employment security process must be met before an official letter of employment can be issued with a report for duty date.
- ✓If you are selected, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure form within 30 days of your first day of employment and annually thereafter.
