You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This job opportunity announcement has a first cut-off 50 applicants. What You'll Do
- →You will serve as Contracts SME with responsibility for managing, administering, negotiating, and evaluating the effectiveness of assigned contracts and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations within the statements of work.
- →You will maintain, manage and negotiate all MOUs and MOAs.
- →You will manage the annual budget to ensure funds are used in accordance with the NCIS operating budget and forecast budget requirements for out years.
- →You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates.
- →You will prepare and present briefings covering status of pending and approved contracts.
- →You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and/or Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) of assigned contracts.
- →You will ensure taskers are recorded in the tracking database, determine appropriate action officer, assign due dates, and follow up to ensure timely response.
- →You will conduct in-depth research prior to negotiations to ensure the proper facts, specific needs, and correct regulations are identified and applied.
