This is a TEMPORARY, INTERMITTENT position located in Office of Overseas Employment, Bureau of Human Resources. The incumbent serves as a Management Analyst in the division responsible for the design of all major cash, non-cash, and risk benefit plans for 186 missions. This responsibility involves compensation and benefit studies, data analysis, plan design, renewal analysis, and reviews for benefit plan soundness and compliance.
What You'll Do
- →Analyzes foreign labor market trends and comparator employer salary data.
- →Evaluates and proposes relevant adjustments to local compensation plans (LCPs) for U.S. missions abroad, which defines Locally Employed (LE) Staff pay and benefits, based on local law and prevailing practice.
- →Identifies post-specific, regional, and global anomalies or trends and formulates solutions.
- →Communicates findings and provides briefings on LCP review results to U.S. mission leadership, post HR, Department officials, Regional Bureaus, other agencies, and other stakeholders.
- →Serves as a subject matter expert in responding to requests from mission management, post HR, Department officials, and other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
