This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in various sub-organizations of the Chief Information Office (J). A successful candidate in this position will serve as an analyst, contracting officer representative (COR), and project manager leading critical initiatives and studies to optimize BPA. You will drive the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of vital systems and processes, safeguarding BPA's core mission and internal controls.
What You'll Do
- →As a Management Analyst, you will: Orchestrate Agency-Wide Strategic Plans - Help chart our collective path forward.
- →You will play a key role in developing and updating high-level strategies across critical BPA departments-including Information Technology, Human Resources, Safety, Security, and Supply Chain.
- →Your work will directly support subject matter experts in modernizing operational policies to keep BPA agile.
- →Drive Process Modernization and Efficiency - Champion continuous improvement.
- →You will analyze existing workflows, staffing structures, and management practices to identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks.
- →By researching industry best practices and introducing modern technological solutions, you will design leaner, smarter processes that maximize BPA's resources.
- →Lead Projects from Conception to Delivery - Own your projects end-to-end.
- →You will define project scope, build realistic schedules, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
- →As a trusted project leader, you will present progress briefings directly to senior leadership and executives, ensuring your projects deliver exceptional results on time.
- →Direct Crucial Vendor Partnerships - Maximize the value of our external contracts.
- →In this role, you will quickly secure your certification to serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- →You will oversee contractor performance, ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards, keep projects on budget, and protect BPA from financial waste.
- →Establish Modern Performance Metrics and Evaluation Tools - Define what success looks like.
- →You will collaborate with management to design clear business metrics and performance targets.
Requirements
