  • This position is located in the Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH), Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC).
  • PIH's mission is to provide low-income families affordable housing opportunities as they transition to self-sufficiency and homeownership.
  • PIH oversees the administration of HUD's Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Section 8 Rental Assistance, and Native American Programs through a staff of Headquarters and Field employees.
  • The field structure for PIH consists of 29 Hub Offices and 16 Program Centers that provide oversight, direct monitoring, and coordination for approximately 4,200 public housing authorities.
  • As a Management Analyst, you will: Define, plan, develop, and implement administrative, personnel, controls, work methods and procedures for PIH HQ and field organizations nationwide.
  • Perform assessments of training needs for Public and Indian Housing staff nationwide, manage training program development and implementation, and manage Public and Indian Housing's training budget.
  • Coordinate for Public and Indian Housing, Headquarters and the field, the process and procedures for management of the PIH commercial credit card program.
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide advisory services to all Program Office officials for all office service functions for the Office which includes a variety of diverse services, including forms management, with requirements for productivity, efficiency, and economy.

  • Citizen or U.S.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
  • Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
  • Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9.
  • Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
  • Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
