This position is located at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. As a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team Member, collaborates with senior management leadership and develops supply chain management strategies in support of a VA Health Care System (VA HCS) and supported catchment area. Develops assigned supply chain metrics which identify business objectives and drive the right supply chain behaviors for planning and executing approved strategies.
What You'll Do
- →Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Not Available Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →Direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Supply Chain Management (SCM) planning.
- →Serves as the Logistics Management Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist.
- →Performs logistical assessments of strategic supply support in coordination with the supported customers and alerts management of systemic problems.
- →Troubleshoots and resolves issues where supply chain deficiencies affect the mission.
- →Ensures collaboration with appropriate managers to provide detailed data analysis.
- →Schedules all requirements through the National Acquisition Center (NAG) to ensure equipment arrives according to planned tasking.
- →Serves as the Logistics Management Specialist and provides adminisitrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist.
Requirements
