The primary purpose of this position: To serve as an expert and advisor to the Warfighter Innovation and Integration Division/J84, Operations Branch (J843) and the Requirements, Analysis, and Resources Directorate (J8) staff regarding all aspects of major-command level Homeland Defense exercise planning and training.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs and coordinates, logistics support for Homeland Defense Experiments Directs mission analysis and develops Joint Mission Essential Tasks (JMETs) for accomplishment of various N/NC, Joint Staff and Department of War (DOW) readiness and training goals and objectives.
- →Serves as a N/NC J8 Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all training issues relating to logistics support to homeland defense experimentation occurring on NORAD Forward Operating Locations (FOLs) and involving USNORTHCOM Service Components operating bases and key logistics nodes.
- →Serves as the N/NC J8 SME on the CJCS strategy toward global integration to enhance DOW strategic planning and execution
