About the Role
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of MARCORSYSCOM.
What You'll Do
- →You will conduct supportability assessments to evaluate system maturity, establish logistics performance measures, define expectations in transition agreements, and support development of strategies and timely capability fielding decisions.
- →You will develop and refine logistics plans, contribute to sustainment cost estimates, and recommend risk reduction activities for technology development efforts to ensure smooth transition from prototype systems to operational use.
- →You will coordinate logistics data availability, integrate inputs from multiple program offices and stakeholders, and support development of acquisition approaches and transition plans that enable efficient and well-informed decision making.
- →You will assess commodity specific product support requirements, identify risks, and implement corrective actions while overseeing improvements that enhance overall system supportability and long term operational performance.
- →You will develop logistics processes, tools, and training, apply industry best practices, and evaluate their relevance to improve support strategies and strengthen program effectiveness across multiple commodity areas.
- →You will represent logistics interests on cross organizational boards and working groups, deliver clear briefings to leadership, and ensure alignment of support requirements with acquisition strategies and contracting approaches.
