About the Role
THIS IS A TITLE 32 DUAL STATUS POSITION DUTY LOCATION: Director of Logistics/G4 (DOL), Hartford, CT AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1: All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Area 2: All currently employed full-time temporary technician personnel and all current traditional members of the Connecticut Army National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to serve in the Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics (DSCLOG), G-4; of an Army National Guard (ARNG) Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) structure.
- →NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
- →This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Connecticut Army National Guard.
- →The major duties include, but are not limited to: May serve as the developmental position for the ARNG Food Program Manager responsible and accountable for oversight of the entire state ARNG Food Service program which includes the administration of the Food Service Budget, Awards Program, new equipment fielding's, training, Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and inspections.
- →Maintains oversight of daily, weekly, monthly, and long term system requirements, ARNG Readiness Center equipment modifications, and requirements to meet current workload demands.
- →Provides technical liaison service to each ARNG unit, prime vendor, and other vendor companies.
- →In accordance with provisions of the Army Regulations internal control systems, initiates, accomplishes and maintains vulnerability assessments, internal control reviews, and, as applicable, proponent checklists.
- →Monitors State ARNG federally funded Readiness Centers and ARNG Dining Facilities to ensure they remain within authorized standards and that required reviews are conducted.
