About the Role

About the Position: Serve as a US European Command (EUCOM) Joint Medical Planner and Senior Medical Logistics subject-matter expert (SME) within the Command Surgeon's Office. Provide guidance, direction, and advice to operational elements specifically related to Health Service Support (HSS) planning.

What You'll Do

  • Develop deliberate and crisis action planning products and development of Annex Q in support of operational, contingency, and supporting plans.
  • Serve as the command's subject matter expert (SME) to develop and execute medical logistics requirements to meet deployment demands for HSS in the most efficient and effective means.
  • Participate in the planning, design, development, and execution of command exercises across the area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Prepare medical briefings, situation reports, messages, and correspondence and coordinates HSS between command levels.
  • Assists with evaluating ally/partner nation and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) medical logistical capabilities and capacities in support of the combatant command campaign plan and country plans.
