About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with Joint Interagency Task Force South, Logistics Directorate, J4. What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist and authority managing transportation support for Counter Drug/Counter Narcotics (CD/CNT) operations, exercises, disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, and contingency operations.
- →Coordinate and execute airlift utilizing a variety of assets to include, but not limited to, Air Force Reserve (AFR), Marine Air Wings (active/reserve), Operational Support Airlift Agency (OSAA), and Joint Operational Support Airlift Center (JOSA).
- →Provide input to higher level management on Transit Zone and Source Zone logistics support policy and procedures.
- →Plan movement of controlled substances and personnel with multiple countries, law enforcement agencies, U.S.
- →Military Groups and U.
- →S. defense attaché offices to necessitate execution of CD operations.
- →Analyze and evaluate deployment, sustainment, and redeployment plans to support comprehensive tactical and non-tactical CD operations.
- →Independently plan, analyze and gather supply, maintenance, and transportation data from a variety of automated logistics systems.
- →Serve as a subject matter expert on DOD and interagency logistics systems.
- →Coordinate unit and logistics schedule changes which result in staging requirements for all mail, inbound air cargo, fuel, provisions, and port services ensuring proper utilization of government CD funds.
