The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a Logistics Analyst for AF appropriations in support of the logistics portfolio, reporting to the Weapon System Sustainment Division, Directorate of Resources, Headquarters, United States Air Force (HQ USAF/A4PY).
What You'll Do
- →Develops and implements Air Force programs and requirements validation process for peacetime and wartime and organic and contract logistics requirements (Weapon System Sustainment, Flying hour program, Logistics Information Technology systems, vehicles, support equipment, and logistics readiness functions) in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process.
- →Develops policies, procedures, and techniques to evaluate over $20B/year for full spectrum logistics requirements for the Air Force Corporate Structure during all phases of the PPBE processes.
- →Develops, implements, and analyzes policies, procedures and approves distribution of funds for execution of specific programs in the AF logistics portfolio.
- →Represents the Division or Directorate in meetings pertaining to assigned programs and/or projects.
- →Responds to a wide assortment of top-level logistics and budget related documents: doctrine, program change requests, defense planning, guidance, operational requirements, program management directives, Congressional language, etc.
