This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as the direct representative of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Commander to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
What You'll Do
- →As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as a senior logistics management specialist, providing expert advice and guidance on logistics operations, planning, and policy.
- →Develops, implements, and evaluates logistics programs and initiatives to support organizational objectives.
- →Coordinates and integrates logistics support across multiple functional areas, including supply, maintenance, transportation, and distribution.
- →Analyzes complex logistics issues, identifies solutions, and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- →Represents the organization in high-level meetings, working groups, and interagency forums.
- →Prepares and presents briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- →Oversees and mentors junior logistics staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
