Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is: Develop and disseminate Air National Guard (ANG) Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) management policy and procedures.
What You'll Do
- →Develops command Air Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) policy and guidance for the ANG.
- →Conceives, develops, and implements guidance over the entire ANG inventory of aircraft, located in 54 states and territories.
- →Conducts comprehensive studies and analysis of existing and proposed logistics policies and procedures to determine impact on the ANG.
- →Develops ANG policies/regulations concerning revision of job-related instructions, manuals and technical orders through proposal evaluation or submission of recommended changes, to include but not limited to; AFI 16-402 Aerospace Vehicle Programming, Assignment, Distribution, Accounting and Terminations and AFI 21-103 Equipment Inventory, Status, and Reporting Utilization Reporting.
- →Develops and prepares change requests for automated logistics data systems.
