This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, directing, reviewing, and evaluating the development of proposed DSCA and OSD policy pertaining to personnel assigned to the DSCS and force management matters, and organizational structures for leadership approval.
What You'll Do
- →As a LEAD SECURITY COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) POLICY ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Reviews changes to law, policies, and regulations pertaining to SCO operations and staffing of SC personnel working at U.S.
- →Embassies to ensure that Department publications are up to date and accurately reflect approved policy and practices.
- →Leads the team by developing and staffing DoD directives and instructions, DSCA policies and procedures, and legislative language to establish processes for the employment and support of the DSCS.
- →Serves on or leads, inter- and intra-agency working groups impacting DSCS, SCO management, and multiple DoD organizations/agencies.
- →Incumbent leads a team supporting 1,500 civilians and military officers working at 140 U.S. embassies.

- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
