About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purpose
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate and control subordinates' work schedules which require rotation.
- →Provide on the job training and internal cross training to both military and civilian technologists and to rotating radiology residents.
- →Controls specimen accession through the computer system to ensure accuracy of data input and output Prepares reports and responds to requests for quality control information from hospital staff and regulatory agencies.
- →Administers the dose of radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures Performs quality control procedures to ensure pharmaceutical quality of agents before administering to patients.
- →Establishes and maintains record keeping systems.
- →Prepares reports and responds to requests for quality control information from hospital staff and regulatory agencies.
