What You'll Do
- →Serves as the central point of contact for assigned procurements.
- →Performs market research to determine availability of products or producers and to develop new sources.
- →Coordinates set asides with the Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Office (SADBU) in efforts to expand competition.
- →Obtains and assesses information regarding EEO compliance of potential contractors.
- →Obtains price data, audit/cost/price analysis reports, freight rates and develops negotiation objectives.
- →Reviews, advises, and signs awards and modifications for unwarranted specialists.
- →Provides guidance and training to lower grades and new hires.
- →Articulates and communicates to the team the assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
- →Applies signature to final award documents to obligate Navy funds.
Requirements
