What You'll Do
- →This position functions as a Lead Accountant located within the Finance Service at the Harry S.
- →Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
- →Reviews the work of Accountants, Accounting Technicians, Financial Analysts, and other services to ensure accuracy and conformity to policy and procedures.
- →Reviews report media, directs and/or prepares and analyzes internal and external statements and reports (e.g, Statement of Financial Conditions, Selected Data, Analysis of Costs Incurred and Statement of Selected Support Data, etc.).
- →Resolving simple, informal complaints of employees and referring others, such as formal grievances and appeals, to the supervisor or an appropriate management official.
- →Maintaining program and administrative reference materials, project files, and relevant background documents and making available policies, procedures, and written instructions from the supervisor.
- →Training or arranging for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks or projects and providing or arranging for specific administrative or technical training necessary for accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
