This vacancy is for an IT Specialist position in the Economic Applications Division located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. What You'll Do
- →Initiating, executing, overseeing, and evaluating projects and advising management concerning the future of the Census Bureau's Secure Cloud strategy, road map, architecture, and engineering similar to AWS Cloud environment.
- →Implementing security requirements, monitors security statuses, and maintains compliance of Cloud solutions with Federal and Census Bureau security policies.
- →Developing operational and architectural artifacts; develops Cloud processes and Standard Operating Procedures, and helps to review/refine Cloud usage patterns to reduce costs.
- →Translating business and non-functional requirements to actionable technical requirements necessary for designing and engineering technical solutions and critical technical engagement services to Census Bureau Cloud customers.
