This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test facilities to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Camp Stanley Storage Activity and serves as IT Specialist (Systems Administration) in the Qualifications Section.
What You'll Do
- →Implement, maintain, modify, and integrate existing automation functions with new standard systems and software upgrades.
- →Administer, analyze, troubleshoot and correct network/computer system problems.
- →Install, configure, and repair electronic communication systems, smart board technology and audio-visual equipment, security cameras, and electronic assemblies of gate entry control switches.
- →Maintain and troubleshoot network and application server hardware, operating system software, and peripheral network equipment.
- →Identify adverse network trends and recommends corrective action to improve operational efficiency along with performing maintenance on all systems as needed.
