You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) in the A2 OPS MAINTENANCE & INTEGRATION, INFO TECH SERVICES DEPARTMENT of FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform Linux/UNIX systems hardware and software analysis, and programming in support of operational and developmental users of Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center.
- →You will be responsible for coding, testing, documentation, and operational integration of both COTS and specialty software/hardware in a highly-available Linux based HPC environment.
- →You will provide analysis and design support for new systems and expertise in implementing major modifications to operating systems and related functionality.
- →You will perform unit and systems test and coordinate integration of modification into the operational systems.
- →You will perform installation updates, and enhancements of operational software and hardware.
- →You will prepare systems requirements, design, maintenance, using and operational documentation and assist in the preparation of Life Cycle management documentation You will provide consultation and advice to HPC operators, support personnel, maintenance technical application programmers and analysis regarding clustered operations and design principles.
