This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Software Development and Operations (JLS), Enterprise Shared Services (JL), Chief Information Office (J). A successful candidate in the IT Specialist (Senior System Analyst) position will serve as a Senior System Analyst functioning as a key technical advisor, process improvement leader, and strategic enabler for IT leadership.
What You'll Do
- →As a IT Specialist (Senior System Analyst), you will: Analyze the organization's technological needs to recommend and create new IT policies and service plans.
- →Evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of different technology solutions and present business cases to leadership with recommendations.
- →Act as the primary contact between technical teams, business units, vendors, and management to ensure projects run smoothly and communication is clear.
- →Research, develop, and implement new methods and procedures to improve how the organization uses technology and solves technical problems.
- →Plan and coordinate important IT projects by defining their scope, goals, and measures for success.
- →Lead the development and testing of prototypes to try out complex designs, new methods, or process improvements before they are fully implemented.
