This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), IT Capital Planning Group (ICPG). As a IT Specialist (Policy & Planning), GS-2210-14, you will serve as a technical authority for the ongoing Technical Review Board program for CMS' IT projects to ensure they are executed and managed effectively.
What You'll Do
- →Plan and advise on an ongoing Technical Review program and Technical Review Board operations for CMS' IT projects to ensure they are selected and managed effectively.
- →Responsible for ensuring the timely completion and implementation of a variety of complex assignments and projects.
- →Communicate assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
- →Plans, organizes, and leads all IT technical acceptability and Governance integration points with the formulation, presentation, and execution of the CMS Target Life Cycle.
