The primary purpose of this position is: Provides technical expertise to operational users, solution providers, acquisition teams, and Air Staff functional to ensure proper integration of enterprise IT and cyberspace capabilities into the Air Force.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, develops, and directs methods, procedures and policies to ensure interoperability across the enterprise.
- →Provides policy and technical guidance to MAJCOMs and other staff in the development and implementation of information management policies, procedures and standards for effective planning, programming, budgeting, and management of hardware/software systems modernization, information/data administration, and other Communications and Information efforts.
- →Serves as a Senior IT Specialist and technical expert at the Secretary of the Air Force/Air Staff level.
- →Maintains regular liaison with MAJCOMs, DISA, Joint staff, HAF staff, and other organizations.
- →Performs other related duties as directed to support the organization.
