About the Role

This position is in the Office of Business Operations, Acquisition and Contracting within Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) located in the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA). The incumbent of this position is an Information Technology (IT) Analyst.

What You'll Do

  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
  • Provide advice on project cost, design concepts, or design changes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of procurement function in addressing information security requirements and supply chain risks through procurement activities and recommend improvements.
  • Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Define project scope and objectives based on customer requirements.
  • Manage the information technology (IT) planning process to ensure that development solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct import/export reviews for acquiring systems and software.
  • Develop supply chain, system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ensure that supply chain, system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements are included in contract language and delivered.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday between 8:00a-4:30p EST Compressed/Flexible: May be available Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
