This position serves as a IT Specialist (INFOSEC), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for performing information security administration and project management, as well as budgetary program analysis and management.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Monitors activities to assess staff security awareness.
- →Manages high-risk IT projects involving enterprise integrations.
- →Provides advice to support complex information security decisions.
- →Develops security plans to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- →Leads analysis of issues that impact component organizations.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓For the GS-14 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone.
- ✓No substitution of education for experience is permitted.
