The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is an independent office within the Department of Agriculture whose mission is to ensure economy, efficiency, and integrity in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs and operations through the successful execution of audits, investigations, and reviews.
What You'll Do
- →Contributes to the development of, and/or conduct operational reviews of the program's application systems and develop factual reports of findings for submission to the team leader.
- →Performs analyses of assigned portions of an agency's IT system functions and operations to determine the efficacy of security and control systems.
- →Provides assistance and guidance in evaluating the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Agency systems, networks, and data.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Direct Deposit - Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
