This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General. As an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security and privacy program for the HUD OIG.
What You'll Do

- →As an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), you will: Be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of HUD OIG's Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- →Be responsible for the development of HUD OIG information security policies, standards and procedures.
- →Provide management and technical support for the design, development and implementation of AIS security plans, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans, and risk assessments.
- →Serve as a Contracting Officers Representative.
- →As COR, responsibilities include preparing statements of work, evaluation of prospective vendors, recommendations, and contract monitoring upon reward.
- →Implement security policy for AIS resources for which OIG has direct operational responsibility.
- →Administer the program, including establishing reporting criteria, coordinating with the Office of Investigations as appropriate, and coordinating with other computer security organizations.
- →Ensure the integration of INFOSEC programs and services and develop solutions to integration/interoperability issues; design, develop, and manage INFOSEC architecture and applications that meet current and future IT security requirements and apply and extend, enhance, or optimize the existing IT Security architecture.
