You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Corporate Operations Dept, ACI/Information Technology Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This is not a high-grade position: therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370.00).
What You'll Do
- →You will manage information security programs to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical networks and systems.
- →You will draft and review vital security documents, including risk assessments, system security plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
- →You will analyze and document system capabilities to establish regulatory compliance and secure official authorization to operate.
- →You will perform regular security audits of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities, quantify risks, and verify system baselines.
- →You will monitor systems for security weaknesses, coordinate corrective actions, and report security incidents to senior leadership.
