You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NIWC ATLANTIC. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:.ST-12934950-26-ABD. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide mentorship and training to less-experienced IA/cybersecurity and IT professionals, ensuring effective resource management and project success.
- →You will provide oversight and management of IA/cybersecurity applications, ensuring compliance with accreditation and sustainment standards.
- →You will advise PMOs, AOs, system owners, and project teams on cybersecurity policies, audit compliance, and risk mitigation techniques.
- →You will lead project efforts coordinating with technical specialists, project managers, engineers, and contractors inside and outside the Command.
- →You will oversee design, installation, and system hardening processes to maintain cybersecurity standards.
- →You will apply IA/cybersecurity principles to assess and authorize systems, perform audits, and implement vulnerability mitigation strategies.
