About the Role

Serve as a Product Line Manager providing leadership and coordination to a team of Managers and other staff for a Product Line within OIT. Executes the overall Product Line roadmap, as defined by leadership, for a specific Product Line using strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Major Duties: Ownership and accountability for successfully delivering business capabilities in their assigned Product Line.
  • Oversees of IT Lifecycle activities for all IT Products and Projects within the Product Line from the identification of need through retirement and decommissioning.
  • Balance development requirements with operational realities.
  • Apply organizational and management analysis theories, concepts, principles and techniques in the planning, development, technical direction, execution and evaluation of various VA and OIT Productivity and Performance Improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Develop quality drivers and quality control processes and associated metrics to ensure established goals, objectives, quality targets and deadlines are met.
  • Review comprehensive strategy requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives, monitor process performance, review opportunities for improvements, and communicates the Product development processes and any significant changes to stakeholders.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
  • Tour of duty may be subject to change based on organizational needs.
  • Travel Required: Up to 25% travel may be required, as needed, for this position.
