This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans (PLCY), Cyber, Infrastructure, Risk & Resilience (CIRR). The primary purpose of this position is to support the development of cross-Departmental strategy, policy, and plans, in coordination with appropriate DHS stakeholders, in the DHS cyber mission space. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As an IT Specialist, GS-2210-12, your typical work assignments may include the following: Supports efforts to improve the nation's cyber posture and capabilities across the homeland security enterprise.
- →Supports coordinating and tracking national cyber and infrastructure security policies and strategies, while supporting senior level decision making planning processes to help guide senior level decision-making.
- →Assists with reviewing existing and proposed strategy an policy.
- →Provides technical and non-technical support to the Cyber Director and Deputy Director.
