This announcement is for IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for planning and directing Service Desk operations, customer service support, IT systems administration, and configuration management activities.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Identifies and resolves recurring incidents, ensuring system performance.
- →Oversees the evaluation and deployment of system patches and upgrades.
- →Develops standards and criteria for assessing system performance.
- →Performs system maintenance to support mission-essential operations.
- →Plans customer support services to meet mission-essential needs.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓For the GS-13 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone.
- ✓No substitution of education for experience is permitted.
