This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Naval Support Facility, Thurmont, Maryland.This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
What You'll Do
- →As Director, SMC PMO, provides technical guidance to staff performing PMO functions, including analyzing broad communications requirements and developing technical guidance to facilitate projects and programs supporting SMC.
- →Responsible for Information Technology/Telecommunications projects, programs, task coordination and senior Subject Matter Expert of Information Technology (Customer Support).
- →Will be the primary coordinator for all Special Missions Command Information Technology projects related to systems internal and external to the Command.
- →Advises the Special Missions Command Commander on all projects impacting both internal and external agencies.
- →Provide all senior level customer support assistance as required by the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) Project Management Office and commercial vendors to design, develop, and implement Information Technology/Telecommunications systems.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-13 grade level.
