You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (APPLICATIONS SOFTWARE) for the Manpower, Analytics and Human Resources Systems (MAHRS) Directorate within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Analytics and HR Systems (ODASN A&HRS) and Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (OASN M&RA).
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the lead technical expert on modern automation, low-code and development environments and other modern development environments.
- →You will develop and maintain applications such as Power Apps, leveraging both SharePoint Lists (canvas apps) and Microsoft Dataverse (model-driven apps) as data sources.
- →You will create and manage complex workflows and business process automations.
- →You will analyze existing processes and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- →You will advise MAHRS senior management on digital transformation and automation strategy, establishing and using new features, enhancements or initiatives to assess and improve M and RA public websites and private portals.
- →You will stay abreast of changes and state-of-the-art technology in DON and software arena and provide strategic advice to upper management relative to these fields.
- →You will analyze complex data to identify and recommend DON wide actions needed to improve web sites and private portals and utilize IT security principles, methods, and procedures to install and configure software.
- →You will develop business cases, project proposals, and technical roadmaps for new automation initiatives.
- →You will lead or personally develop requirements to adjust and improve availability, accuracy and ease of sites and portals for performance and workload measurement.
