The Intelligence Community (IC) Chief Information Office (CIO) is responsible for advancing the Intelligence Community's mission by driving secure collaboration, integration, and information sharing; identifying and addressing information enterprise risks; and providing strategic leadership and oversight of the IC's enterprise architecture and enterprise information technology.
What You'll Do
- →Provide leadership and technical direction for complex IT projects involving enterprise-scale system architectures, cloud migrations, algorithm optimization, and artificial intelligence/machine learning integration.
- →Lead cross-functional teams of software engineers, data scientists, system architects, and security specialists through full project lifecycles from requirements definition through deployment, ensuring adherence to Agile/DevSecOps methodologies.
- →Provide leadership and/or oversight to the successful execution of spend plans and assess variances from cost and schedule baseline; oversee the reallocation of resources in response to change considering impact to project cost, schedule, and quality of deliverables.
- →Manage the expectations of senior-level customers and ensure the delivery of quality products and services; lead the examination of project successes and failures and develop solutions to improve products and services.
- →Lead all aspects of contract management and oversight to include leading competitions and contract renewal from beginning to end; work closely with mission customers, organizational management, and the Contracting Officer (CO).
Requirements
- ✓Must be a current permanent ODNI employee OR must be a current permanent Federal employee with supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment (JDA).
- ✓JDA applicants must be currently at the grade level specified in the advertisement.
- ✓No temporary promotion opportunities will be granted for this position.
- ✓The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants may be considered for this position as a reimbursable detailee, if endorsed by the employing agency.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants must have a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or have the ability to obtain one.
- ✓The ODNI does not conduct polygraphs or provide security clearances for detailees.
