This position is located in the Program Executive Director Front Office, Schedule and Risks within the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA), Electronic Health Records Modernization Integration Office EHRM-IO within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA).

- →Cybersecurity Code 411 - Technical Support Specialist: Provides technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components (i.e., Master Incident Management Plan, when applicable).
- →Major Duties: The incumbent manages broad-based IT project assignments for program areas and activities within the Program Executive Director Front Office, Schedule and Risks Pillar.
- →Performs a wide variety of analytical duties connected with the execution of critical applications integration and configuration activities.
- →Reviews and interprets policies, program guidance and objectives relating to assigned responsibilities and engages operational management methods, systems and operations.
- →Ensures the smooth operation of field activities, including field safety and work quality by interfacing with field workers, clients, and third-party material suppliers, field coordinator.
- →Coordinates the IT activities contributing to achieve the strategic objectives of VA EHRM-IO within the context of increased use of technologies requiring a high level of knowledge related to cybersecurity, infrastructure, software and hardware and other interconnected technologies related to IT technology management.
Requirements

- ✓Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications (particularly positions with a positive education requirement).
