You will serve as NIWC Pacific's Communications and Networks (C&N) Engineering Senior Scientific Technical Manager and C&N Department Head of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide advanced and/or unprecedented scientific and/or technical guidance and recommendations to top-level administrative and technical management officials within the STRL, DoD, other federal agencies, and academia.
- →You will perform and/or manages research and development in the physical and engineering sciences and other fields closely related to the Center's mission.
- →You will be responsible for rigorous yet agile systems engineering and disciplined technical leadership in the development of Communication and Network Systems.
- →You will lead engineering, development, and integration of seabed-to-space systems and capabilities.
- →Covers tactical/enterprise networking, commercial/military communications, and positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) systems.
Requirements
- ✓An advanced degree of Master's or Ph.D. related to the position is highly desirable.
