This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development, Government National Mortgage Association Ginnie Mae. Washington D.C. is a potential duty location for this position; however, the Washington D.C. office is expected to relocate to Alexandria, Virginia. Selectees may be required to report initially to Washington, D.C and later report to Alexandria, Virginia.

- →As an IT Program Manager (INFOSEC), you will: Manage the scheduling and reporting of status and effectiveness of Information Security Program.
- →Coordinate efforts within Office of Enterprise Data and Technology Solutions to assess and improve the current cyber risk assessment methodology and approach.
- →Work across the enterprise, determine Ginnie Mae's cyber risk appetite.
- →Manage the performance of cyber risk assessments to determine whether new or existing applications, services or processes are introducing risks that fall outside of Ginnie Mae's risk tolerance.
- →Leverage the Enterprise Security Governance (ESG) structure to continue the implementation of a cybersecurity strategy that aligns to Ginnie Mae's goals and objectives.
- →Keep abreast of pertinent developments in Federal information security laws, statutes, and regulations.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Alexandria, Virginia.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.
- ✓Key Requirements: Must be U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A one year probationary period may be required.
- ✓Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- ✓A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- ✓Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9.
