This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Senior Data Engineer and technical authority on data systems, software development, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for the US ARMY JOINT COUNTER-UAS OFFICE EXECUTIVE DIVISION.
What You'll Do
- →Provide authoritative technical guidance and oversight on software development and acquisition programs Lead working groups to develop, publish, and govern protocols required for system integration.
- →Evaluate contractor proposals and provide formal technical assessments of system designs.
- →Monitor software development progress to ensure all data meet operational needs.
- →Collaborate with intelligence analysts and operational users to identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence (AI) can provide a decisive advantage.
