Information Technology Division - Arlington, VA The selectee of this position serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist. You will be responsible for directing and managing major USMS technology projects such as mobility, infrastructure, administration and operational, mission support application, software application and SharePoint projects.
What You'll Do
- →As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist at the GS-2210-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Managing a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations and projects, which may include access to classified programs and handling classified and /or sensitive data.
- →Planning, designing, implementing the IT service, equipment, application, system and/or solution's architecture hosted either on-premise or in cloud native platform environments ensuring the solution meets cybersecurity requirements.
- →Leading a full range of IT projects and services through the IT change control process ensuring the proper application of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cybersecurity, and information assurance policies.
- →Writing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation.
- →Tracking and overseeing implementation of vulnerability management mitigation to include effective and timely cybersecurity patch management.

Requirements
- ✓Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s).
- ✓Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening.
- ✓This position is a Testing Designated Position and is subject to random drug testing.
- ✓Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Physical Demands - The work is primarily sedentary, but the incumbent is required to move computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- ✓Education may not be used in lieu of Specialized Experience at the GS-14 grade level.
