This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - HC/DoDNET Services.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent is responsible for broad subject matter IT-areas including models, communications, architecture, systems planning, and long-term system development to identify application areas, etc.
- →Incumbent is also responsible for operational support models and/or life cycle system development.
- →Directs extensive and comprehensive analysis to identify, define and implement strategic efforts to support the operations for both on and off premise cloud infrastructure.
- →Identifies potential risks areas for implementing changes to hardware, including the operational support model of maintaining multiple processes depending on the infrastructure.
- →Provides advanced technical support and guidance to staff in matters relating to IT issues that involve a broad range of IT management typically extending and applying to an entire organization or major components of an organization.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
