This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Central Command.
What You'll Do
- →Provide program management direction and represent the division at conferences and meetings with military departments, government agencies, and commercial companies on matters related to optical and IP networks.
- →Lead project teams in planning, configuring, installing, and integrating managed networked systems for the transmission of voice, data, video, and/or AISR formats, while synchronizing execution with the DISA HQ program manager and the customer.
- →Assess new communications systems requirements, performance deficiencies, and interoperability to identify technology enhancements for the Enterprise Infrastructure.
- →Participate in developing policies and concepts for DISN integration and optimization projects to accommodate the requirements of military and civilian agencies.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
