This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/CYBER DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.
What You'll Do
- →Reviews technical design and network specifications to address customer requirements.
- →Diagnoses and resolves network problems.
- →Develops project plans, assigns and prioritizes the work of other network specialists, and oversees the implementation of project activities.
- →Defines customer requirements for new and modified systems and services based upon analysis of business needs and practices.
- →In a team environment, plans and coordinates systems design, acquisition, testing, installation and support.
- →Defines and executes total breadth of network operations of an activity to ensure continuous availability and accessibility of the organization’s LAN/WAN ensuring a wide range of services that are vital to the accomplishment of mission requirements.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
