This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/CYBER DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.
What You'll Do
- →Employs broad comprehensive knowledge of emerging technologies enterprise IT architecture, customer business processes, organizational plans, and resource requirements in accomplishment of assigned projects.
- →Develops and implements complex configuration management plans for complex LANs and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
- →Plan, design, manage and enhance highly efficient network systems that respond to DISA's business requirements.
- →Develops, interprets, plans and applies policy, process, procedure and strategy in the delivery of multi-discipline IT networking services required to achieve data and system integration/interoperability for assigned systems and applications.
- →Provides oversight of testing activities, results and government acceptance.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
