What You'll Do
- →Provide System Administration for a large-scale mainframe payroll system, ensuring stability and performance.
- →Serves as a technician of several specialized IBM mainframe software packages, including Computer Associates (CA) View, Strobe, AbendAid, Access Control Facility (ACF2), and CA-1 Tape Management System (TMS).
- →Maintain, test, and debug the IBM z/OS mainframe operating system software.
- →Provide on call support to nightly batch mainframe processing cycles for a payroll system.
- →Analyze system problems (abends) and issue system recovery and/or restart Job Control Language (JCL) as warranted by the situation.
- →Maintain system documentation to improve and maintain the system's audit posture for large scale mainframe payroll system.
